Peace Direct’s Learning Management System (LMS) is designed to equip peacebuilding practitioners around the world with practical skills and techniques for effectively resolving conflicts and fostering peace at the local level.
You will gain practical skills and techniques to resolve conflicts and build sustainable peace at the local level. The course includes eight modules covering topics like perspectives and values, self-awareness, conflict and power, peace and healing, conflict analysis, nonviolence strategies, movement building, and being the change.
How long does it take to complete?
The course is self-paced. Each module takes around 20–50 minutes to complete online, depending on the time you spend on activities. You can finish the course in a few hours or over several weeks, based on your schedule.
What course materials can I access?
All materials are available online upon sign-up. They are based on Working with Conflict 2 by Simon Fisher, Vesna Matovic, and Bridget Ann Walker. Additional resources for further learning are also recommended.
